Parents On Vacation or In Denial?

by Abby on September 5, 2012

The BumpGreat news, people! Once again, I am going to be guest blogging for TheBump.com. Remember when you were getting married and spent WAY too much time on TheKnot.com stalking the message boards for tips on dealing with bridesmaids and finding the best florist? Well, TheBump.com is the married-with-kids version of that.

Each Wednesday I’ll be tackling topics having to do with pregnancy, parenting, motherhood, what have you. You know, the stuff I’m an expert on. 🙂

This week I’m blogging about those people who just can’t seem to accept the fact that a vacation with small kids is not the same at ALL as a vacation without kids. And by “those people” I mean me. Go read “Don’t Deny It: Your Vacation Revolved Around Your Baby,” will ya? Thanks for reading — bonus points for comments!

Once again you hit the nail on the head. We were actually talking tonight how we are not doing a beach vacation without bringing a sitter along the entire week next summer. She will be getting up with the boys and we will take advantage of serious date nights.
