This Saturday dawned breezy and cool. By afternoon, it was positively balmy. Baseball try-outs and bike rides! Sunny stoops and cold brews! Instead of the drab snow-and-mud patchwork I’d grown used to in my backyard, I saw some color breaking through – crocuses, raising their purple beaks to the sun. Spring at last?
Not so much.
Today’s forecast: 30’s, with a 100% chance of 3-6 inches of snow by morning. Sigh.

I am so sympathetic! We’ve been bouncing around too and it frosted this morning but at least no more days off school! 🙁
