I forget what triggered this. I might have pried a Sharpie out of his hand. Or perhaps I offered him an apple when he asked for one but then he changed his mind. Or maybe I had the gall to turn the TV off without letting him push the button himself. Ah, 2-year-olds…

This is AWESOME! And so much lighter fare than what I posted today LOL….
I love this post – short and hilarious!
OMG! you have broken into my house and photographed my son and photoshopped him to look like someone else. This happens all the time. Yesterday he told me that he was “so sick. cause his tummy was not full” and if he didn’t “have pizza RIGHT NOW” he was just going to die. he also “CANT get up from the couch” cause he is “too hungry” — he is 3, where did he learn this drama from?! And when I laugh, at the absurdity of it all. “its NOT FUNNY!” and screaming, kicking, tears and wails ensue. I made him stop crying and sit up and got him 3 slices of ham. Problem solved as quickly as it began. Really kid?! Can’t we just skip to that part next time?
Now where’s the fun in that? ๐ Oh, the drama… A preview of the teen years? God help us.
Haha! Love it! And, love the new blog! Great design and I look forward to continuing to read your thoughtful and funny stories of mommyhood!
Is this my long-lost blog buddy from Dooneybug Days?! Hi! I can’t believe you’re still reading my blog! I still miss yours. I bet your kids are so big now. As you can see, mine are too…
Hehe! Yes, it is. I don’t comment much but I love reading your writing! One day when I’m not busy (ha!) I’d love to take one of your writing classes. Baby #3 (the finale) is due at the end of July, my oldest turns 5 next week and the soon to be middle child will be 4 in August.
Phew! That looks exhausting. My boy had a similar fit yesterday, but instead of flinging himself on the floor, he writhed about in the time-out chair. Good times.
All the good comments were taken. ๐ What I LOVED about this (besides the fact that he’s a stunt double for my son) is that while he threw himself on the floor, you snapped pictures!
Haha, you may as well have been channeling me. Such a fun age, yes?
There is nothing more to say than AWESOME. Oh, and TWO YEAR OLDS! #parentsoftwoyearoldsrock
Great post!! Usually when my just-turned-three-year-old does this stuff I’m too flustered to take pictures. Plus he’d probably scream at me not to and then bat the camera from my hand.
