The results of my super-scientific blog survey are IN! Are you on the edge of your seats wondering whether readers are turned off by previously published posts from your archives? Good news! Nearly 80% of respondents say it doesn’t bother them at all, and over 70% say they read these posts anyway. As an apt commenter pointed out (paraphrasing here) the fact that I’ve already seen a certain episode of The Big Bang Theory/Hot in Cleveland/Parks and Recreation certainly doesn’t stop me from watching it again.
Interestingly, however, a slight majority said they would actually prefer a “Wordless Wednesday”-type post in lieu of a post from the archives. Since this is already too wordy to be one of those, I will just treat you to a few photos of the first week of summer vacation, which I affectionately like to refer to as “Camp Mom.” Of course, my affection wanes as the summer goes on… and on. (See: I’m Quitting Summer)
Of course we’ve already been to the pool several times. Also known as The Place to Which You Can Never Bring Enough Snacks.
And the pond, home to some aggressive ducks and an alarmingly large koi fish we named “Hugo.”
And there’s been some napping, even from people who proclaim quite vehemently and unconvincingly that they do not need them.
What’s your summer been like so far?
